Double room in a friendly house of 5

We have a double room available in our lovely house, a 4 minute walk from Canonbury Overground and an 8 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station.

The house:
The house has a large front room with comfy sofas and TV (with Prime, Netflix, Disney+ etc), a big kitchen with a dining area, shared front garden, a private back garden with a barbecue, and 3.5 bathrooms between the 5 housemates (2 bedrooms are ensuite). The room shares the bathroom on the 3rd floor with two other housemates. The room is available from 1st July 2024.

The area:
Canonbury is a beautiful leafy area that is incredibly well-connected but just out of the way enough to be quiet. We're just an 8 min walk from Highbury & Islington station at the top of Upper Street. The overground will get you to Dalston in 2 mins, Shoreditch in 9 mins, Hackney Central in 5 mins or London Fields / Broadway Market in 20 mins. If you're heading into the centre, Oxford Circus is just 15 mins away. We have some great pubs and restaurants near us on top of gyms, coffee shops, and lovely Highbury Fields and Clissold Park.

The flatmates:
Chris, 35, a Northerner who enjoys cooking and travelling. Started a healthy drinks company, and works managing actors and doing drinks events. Works from home occasionally.
Brookelyn, 30, is an Australian who loves art, films, nature, museums, bush walks and surfing back home in Oz. She is currently working as a supply teacher in London.
Aimee is 28, from Hertfordshire works in fundraising for an arts university and gallery. Her interests include art including art galleries, yoga, museums, reading, nature, swimming in hampstead ponds and cooking.
Chloe, 29 is a researcher working in the tech industry. She's been in London for 4 years previously in the US and grew up in HK. she likes going to jazz/soul/R&B/pop gigs, picnicking in the park, yoga, or biking around the neighbourhood, also a coffee lover!

We are all friends and are looking for someone that likes the occasional pub night at our local, barbecue afternoon or film evening - but have our own lives outside of the house as well. Ideally, we want someone that is generally friendly, tidy, chilled and fits in well!

Bills are not included and are:
£66 per month to the landlord (council tax, water, tv license, fibre broadband).
£30 per month for gas and electricity (usage dependent) paid to Chris.

This is a private let with the landlord so there are no agency fees etc.
