Description
The room is a double bedroom and comes with basic furniture: double-bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and a very spacious built it wardrobe. Plus the house had two additional storage rooms where everyone can leave un used things.
The house is part of a brick building. It has three floors: kitchen and a small toilet on the ground floor, where we also have a patio with big potential for some summer bbqs; on the second floor, there's a big living room and one bedroom; while on the last floor, two double-rooms and bathroom, with both shower and bathtub.
Main perks:
- Location !!!! We're less than 5 mins walk from Canonbury overground station, about 10 mins walk from Highbury and Islington tube, and loads of bus-stops nearby. Newington Green is less than 10 min walk (therefore, more importantly, Jolene and Oi Vita, the best pizza place you will find in London😊), plus Angel is about 25 mins, and Dalston is also less than 20 mins away.
- Professional kitchen: as you can see in the pictures, the kitchen is huge, which is why we love catching up over dinner every once in a while during our week.
- Comfy shared spaces: the living room is spacious as well, and has lots of natural light for the whole day - the table can fit up to 10 people so we actually use it as our communal WFH station and the sofa is very comfortable.
- Practical goodies: two storage rooms, dishwasher, and washing machine with incorporated dryer
I am currently sharing the flat with two friends (which is with whom you will be living with): Filippo and Alex.
Filippo is British/Italian, 30 years old, works as a behavioural consultant and a woodworker artist. He studied psychology, splits his time between his consultant work and his creative studio, and has been living happily in the house for 5 years now.
Alex is English, 29 years old, and works for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. He is interested in the arts, likes to visit galleries, museums, run and do rock climbing. He’s been living in the house for over 2 years.
We have a really nice and friendly vibe in the house. Every once in a while we will go out for a drink at the pub, or go out for dinner. At the same time, we all have our own lives, and are respectful of others’ private spaces.
Move in date is the 1st of August. We are ideally looking for someone that is looking to stay long term.
If this sounds like your place and Filippo and Alex sound like your people, please send us a message with an introduction of yourself.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Alex, Filo and Francesca
