We have a double room in our gorgeous 3-bed Newington Green home, currently vacant because of a gap between one flatmate moving out and the next moving in!
The flat is a fully-furnished, split-level Victorian conversion (raised ground + 1st floor). The available room is a bright and spacious double with loads of storage space and natural light.
You’ll be sharing the house with me (Sophia), Georgia, and my cat Bodie ☺️
Being queer-friendly is a non-negotiable 💗
We have a beautiful living room complete with stacks of books, a craft box, my electric piano collecting dust & a TV. The living room is a lovely communal space that gets heaps of natural light and is ideal for cosy chats, movie nights, dinner parties etc.
There’s 1 bathroom with a shower over the bath, we have a huge loft space for extra storage, as well as the cute patio out the back complete with cherry tree.
We’re in the absolute best location, with easy buses into central, Shoreditch, Old Street etc, 9 mins walk to Canonbury overground, Dalston about 12 mins walk & similar to Upper Street. Easy to get to Highbury & Islington for the Victoria line too!
About the roomies:
I’m Sophia (she/her), 28 & working as a hospital doctor. I love learning languages (currently self-teaching Portuguese), dim sum, cute cafes and hidden speakeasies, movie nights and everything TMI. I like getting out of my comfort zone and try to be a yes person (but you’ll never get me running).
Georgia is also 28, originally from Lancashire & works in production & programming for Sadlers Wells. She loves a good boogie, a dip in the ponds on Hampstead Heath & a healthy dose of dream analysis.
More shared loves include: dance (in the kitchen, out and about, watching professionals), debriefing on crushes/lovers/yearnings, having an Oi Vita and finding a devastating lesbian film on Mubi, getting discounted flowers from Colombia Road when they’re packing up to leave, smutty poetry nights, film photography and lots of silly giggles.
