Looking for someone to take over my room while abroad, it’s in zone 1 just a 5 minute walk from the station!

Located in Canonbury, this large double room has a great view of the london skyline. This would be a good landing place for someone looking to visit or anyone new to the city who needs somewhere to stay while finding a more permanent place. Desk and monitor set up make the room perfect for remote workers and students!
Shared kitchen, bathroom, living room with one flatmate.

LOCATION
The location is great, you can reach most parts of london in about a half an hour! You are super central in zone 1 but this is a quiet, non touristy residential neighborhood with a lot of families. Anywhere is a islington a short bus ride or nice walk through this scenic neighborhood will get you there.

Transit:
- 5 min Canonbury overground station
- 5 min bus stop (Essex Road)
- 15 min Highbury & Islington station

What else is walkable nearby:
- 0 Nightingale Park
- 1 min New River Walk
- 3 min off license
- 5 min Tesco/Sainsbury
- 5 min fish and chips
- 15 min Dalston (Kingsland road)
- 25 min Angel Central shopping center

FLAT
The room is very large fully furnished with an L desk, desk chair, dresser, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, large double bed, and more! You’ll have plenty of storage in here and the bathroom as well. Bathroom includes a very big shower with a shower chair (bathroom wheelchair accessible). Kitchen is modest but has everything you need including an air fryer, smoothie blender, toaster, espresso machine, electric kettle, microwave, washing machine. Living room is quite spacious with a huge smart tv, L couch, dinner table, and more views of the skyline!

For security I’ve never felt unsafe in the year I’ve been here but for peace of mind the building is locked behind an electric door and the flat has a concrete door. The street is very quiet at night.

You’ll be staying with my live in landlord / flatmate Tate. He is super friendly but also completely respectful of privacy and alone time. He works full time in the neighborhood so is very available to help you with anything you need!
