Lovely room in friendly 3 bedroom houseshare

We have a lovely room in our 3-bedroom house in Canonbury / De Beauvoir opening up from mid-September / beginning October as our current housemate and friend is reluctantly moving in with her partner. We’re not looking for any short term sublets unfortunately.

We’re two women aged 29 and 30 and we’re looking for someone like minded to move in and keep the cosy, fun and relaxed vibe in our home going 🏡♥️ a bit about us:

- Sarah (30) is an education researcher, works from home most of the week but goes to Oxford for one or two days each week as this is where her work is based. Loves yoga, running along the canal, going for a swim in the ladies pond, and anything else in nature! From Cape Town South Africa originally but been living in London for 1.5 years.

- Julia (29) is a product manager who mostly works from her office with one or two days from home each week. Loves cooking, a pint in the sunshine, climbing and traveling (she is currently on a sabbatical horse riding through Kyrgyzstan! 🐴). Also from Cape Town South Africa originally and has been living in London for the last 3 years.

We both keep a good balance of being quite social and relaxing and enjoying our routines in London. We’re so happy with the wonderful homey spot we’ve created and are looking for someone who wants to join and enjoy a home space rather than just a house-share. We keep our space clean and looking cosy and nice but aren’t over the top about chores.

Our place is in a great spot on a quiet pedestrian road off Essex road, very short walking distance from anything and everything you’d need - grocery stores, pharmacies, great pubs, coffee shops etc.

We’re a 10-minute walk to Canonbury overground, 15 minutes to Highbury and Islington, and there is a bus stop basically on our doorstep so getting around is super easy.

The room comes with the bed, mattress and white cupboard (but not the chest of drawers or clothes rail). Deposit is £1269.23, and bills (wifi, water, electricity and heating) and council tax come to around £120 per month. Move in ideally would be between mid-September to beginning October.
