YOUR SPACE
The double bedroom will come furnished, with your own ensuite bathroom. In the current pictures room is unfurnished, but it will come with a double bedframe and new mattress, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a desk (should you want one). The ensuite has a powerful shower, heated towel rail, and ample mirrored cupboards. On the 5th floor, you’ll look out over parkland and tree tops.

SHARED SPACE
As the property is only 7 years old, everything is still fresh and functioning. There’s a spacious, open plan kitchen and living room, complete with a large balcony.

We have a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, functioning oven, microwave etc. There’s also an air filtration system, fast fibre broadband and floor-to-ceiling, double-glazed windows. We also have a cleaner that cleans regularly and this would be included in the rent.

The whole room, and the balcony, looks out over the trees and open spaces of Ladywell Fields. River walks, picnics and exercise areas are all on our doorstep. There are even kingfishers nearby!

WHO YOU'D BE SHARING WITH
There’s me, the live-in-landlord. I'm a 42 year old gay man with a full-time job in TV production. And there’s Monty, my 4-year old whippet.

I’m really keen to share the flat with someone who treats it as a home, and who is happy to unwind and socialise with a glass of wine sometimes. I’ve had flatmates for most of my adult life, so you’d be living with someone who is good at sharing a home. As my job is pretty intense at times, I cherish having a relaxing, comfortable space. I’m working from home part-time, but have set myself up to work in the bedroom so wouldn't be in the way.

The dog is very sweet (although I am biased, hehe), house trained and generally chilled. He goes to daycare couple days a week, so he’s also not always in the flat.

GET A SENSE OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The flat is walking distance to Catford and Catford Bridge stations, with direct trains to London Bridge, Waterloo, Charing Cross, King's Cross and Blackfriars. The fast train from Catford Bridge to London Bridge is approximately 11 mins.

Catford and surrounding areas have some lovely pubs, coffee shops and delis. We’re within walking distance to a couple of large super markets, too.
