Neat Double Room with own Bathroom

Hi there,

I have a lovely double room to let with sole use of one bathroom and my partner and I are looking for a friendly, clean, respectful lodger to share our space with. NHS staff welcome. All bills included. I will require references, one month’s rent deposit, along with one month’s rent in advance.

ABOUT MY HOME

Two bathrooms, two bedrooms, both bedrooms recently refurbished.

One kitchen with larder fridge, freezer and washing machine; split level electric oven with gas hob and separate microwave.

The available bedroom has a good sized built in wardrobe, hard floor, chest of drawers, a chair, bedside cabinets and overhead cupboards. If required the bed will have a duvet and two pillows; I can also provide one set of bedding for starters.

Through lounge/living space with dining table to seat 6, corner settee and TV; hard floor.
Broadband.

Tiled bathroom has bath with shower, sink, wc and storage cupboards.

The back garden is not currently useable as it is in the process of being landscaped but there is access from the back of the property in the case of an emergency. There is also a park, just across the road.

There is limited free parking around the corner or temporary parking outside the park during the day which is practically across the road. Otherwise parking is free after 7pm until 9am, and during the weekends and bank holidays.

Clean and tidy household – I don’t like mess sorry.

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a vegetarian, moving over (very slowly) to being a vegan - I still love the cheese!! But don’t worry, meat eaters are very welcome 😊

I work in admin Monday to Friday but love to sew and do reupholstery when I find the time!


LOCALITIES

The park can be seen through the front windows, so only a short walk away.

All the local amenities such, eg shops (Tesco Express, Co-Op), pharmacy, cafés, take-aways, gym, newsagents, dry cleaners and hair salons/barbers are within short walking distances, and it is a 20 minute walk to Lewisham Hospital/A&E.

Hither Green Train Station (10 minute walk) will take you to:
London Bridge 10 minutes, Waterloo East 16, and Charing Cross 23, Cannon Street.
During the weekday mornings you can get a Fast to Waterloo East 10 minutes

Catford Train Station (20 minute walk) will take you to:
Elephant & Castle 19 minutes, and to Blackfriars 24

Catford Bridge Train Station (20 minute walk) will take you to:
London Bridge 11 minutes, and Charing Cross 19.

Two bus routes within a five minute walk; one route will take you into Lewisham Town Centre/DLR and the other to Catford/Catford Bridge Train Stations, or to Blackheath in the opposite direction.
