Hi there, I am a fit and active sixty-five-year-young man living on my own in a large house post-divorce. I therefore have what I consider to be a very nice space for the right lodger to share in my home. I have provided the details below; however, please do not hesitate to contact me and ask questions about my house.

A large double bedroom, separate lounge with kitchenette and a private bathroom to let in a house shared with the owner occupier in the Catford/Bellingham borders London SE6

THE SPACE:
A bright and spacious self-contained area on the first floor of my spacious 1930s home is available to rent to one single professional. The rooms are freshly renovated and fully furnished and include:

A large double bedroom (double bed, wardrobes, chest of drawers, etc).

A large lounge with kitchenette (fridge freezer and basic cooking facilities, sofa, an dining & coffee tables).

a private bathroom (WC with a shower over the bath).

The lodger will also have access to the laundry room on the house's ground floor.

Whoever rents this space will have sole use of these rooms. However, please note that occasionally, and at times to be mutually agreed upon, I will need to enter the first floor to access a storage room and the loft. The rest of the property and the rear garden are for the sole use of the landlord unless otherwise agreed.

LOCATION:
The house is on Crantock Road in South Catford SE6, a quiet residential street of 1930 semi-detached houses. Convenience shops and a retail park are within a 7-minute walk, and the beautiful Beckenham Place with 96 hectares of parkland, a fabulous mansion house with a full calendar of events and an open-air swimming lake can be walked to within 20 minutes.

TRANSPORT LINKS:
Less than 15 minutes away is Bellingham's mainline train station, which is in Zone 3 and has Direct trains to London Bridge, Victoria, and Blackfriars in under 30 minutes. A 7-minute walk to Bromley Road near Catford bus garage, where various buses get you to Catford Bridge Train Station in 10 minutes or Lewisham Train and DLR Stations in under 30 minutes.

SUITABILITY:
I’m looking for one professional occupant. Please note I am not interested in renting to couples, sharers or students—ideally, someone who is mature and considerate. The space is not suitable for someone looking for a party house. Please note that Monday to Friday rental may also be considered if beneficial. In this case, the rent would be reduced pro rata.
