Hi All,
I'm looking for a new housemate to share my flat with after a friend moved abroad over the summer.
You'll have your own spacious (11.5 sq m) fully furnished room with ensuite in a new build flat which looks down onto Ladywell Fields.
The bedroom room comes with:
- a double bed
- matching bedside tables, chest of draws and wardrobe (with hangers).
- a desk with drawers and shelves
- ensuite flat bathroom with bath and shower as well as plenty of storage cupboards with mirrored doors.
- access to a secure ground floor bike storage.
Shared areas/amenities:
- lounge with Sky tv & netflix
- dining table for 6
- fully equipped kitchen with built in appliances comprising a dishwasher, fan oven, halogen hob, fridge freezer, and a microwave.
- washing machine
- balcony with views of the park below and Catford, complete with balcony sofa and coffee table.
I'm friendly, social and love to cook, enjoy music and go to the gym every so often. I like nights out as well as a good film night in, and enjoy taking up all London has to offer on the weekend. I have a good circle of friends in London but equally would like to make a new one as a housemate, whilst recognising each other’s own space.
What's included in the rent:
- room and sole use of private bathroom
- TV licence, netflix and Sky TV (inc box sets and Sky Cinema)
- fibre optic broadband
- council tax, water, electric.
- flat essentials (loo roll, cleaning & kitchen stuff etc)
Local area:
- Ladywell Fields surrounds the flat and has a river and tennis club whilst Catford has the usual amentities:
- The development has a Sainbury’s local which is by the exits for both train stations whilst Tesco, Aldi and Lidl are within 15 minute walks
- banks and shops like Argos etc.
- a few pubs (the ninth life etc)
- cinema and cocktail bar (Catford Mews which is on insta)
- Catford and Brockley both have food markets whilst Lewisham and Forest Hill are all under 30 mins walk away.
- Ladywell (under 10 mins walk) has great restaurants including an Indian, Italian and Gastro pub.
Catford and Catford bridge serve:
- London Bridge (12 mins)
- Canon Street (20 mins)
- Charing Cross (25 mins)
- Blackfriars (25 mins)
- St Pancras (35 mins)
Parking - two options:
1. rent a parking space in the development for £100 a month through a neighbour
2. park on a residential street outside the development 5-10 minutes walk away.
Deposit and agreement:
- min one month rent for deposit.
- a lodger agreement will be put in place signed by both of us.
- References from past/current landlord may be requested
