Adjacent to Catford Bridge is Catford station which is serviced by the Thameslink and has regular trains to Peckham, Blackfriars, Farringdon and St Pancras. It's also right near the South Circular road.

Catford is a quickly up-and-coming area, with lovely independent cafes and delis, and the house is less than 5 minutes walk from the vibrant Catford centre which has lots of shops, including a huge Tesco.
