Description
I will have a spare furnished room available while my current tenant is abroad on an internship from February until June.
This is a professional household, and the letting is designed to be entirely surprise-free. The terms and duration are clear from the outset:
The move-in date will be in February (an earlier move-in may be considered upon request). The room must be vacated by June, which is non-negotiable, as the tenant will be returning at that time. The specific dates will be agreed between both parts.
The household is safe, respectful, and well maintained, and we also have a little dog, Lulu, that loves cuddling and will be happy to greet you as well. I am a journalist, and the other two flatmates are both British girls, very polite, chill and professionals. We all enjoy our privacy, but appreciate sharing a laugh and a glass of wine from time to time.
The room is bright and fully furnished, ideal for a single professional or postgraduate student, and includes a desk, comfortable chair, and bookshelves. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. The house also have a living space and a lovely garden, partly shared (free to use when I am not home).
The property is located in a well-connected and desirable area:
- Chalk Farm station: approximately 8 minutes’ walk
- Camden Town: around 15 minutes on foot
- Central London: approximately 15–30 minutes by bus or tube
For those who enjoy green spaces and outdoor activities, Primrose Hill / Regent’s Park and Hampstead Heath are in opposite directions, both within a 12–15 minute walk. Gyms, yoga studios, supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and other local amenities are all available within a 15–20 minute walk.
Rent & Terms
- Available: February to June (fixed term; exact dates to be agreed in advance)
- Rent: £900 per month — bills included (as advertised, no surprises)
- Deposit: £900 (equivalent to last month’s rent)

This is a fixed-term sublet only. The room is not available beyond June, and the tenant must be willing to vacate on the agreed end date. This condition will be clearly stated in the sublet agreement.
