Bright Double Room in Lovely Chalk Farm Home 🌿
£1,205 pcm (all bills included)
I’m moving out of my room in Chalk Farm and honestly very sad to be leaving because it’s been such a lovely home.
The house is located around a 10-minute walk from Chalk Farm station and also within walking distance of Kentish Town West. The area is incredibly safe, calm and family-friendly, with beautiful quiet streets and lots nearby. There are plenty of shops close by including Sainsbury’s, Tesco and a large Morrisons, plus gyms, cafés and restaurants nearby. Primrose Hill is also close and perfect for walks, coffee, brunch or evenings out.
The room itself is bright, spacious and peaceful, with a large window that gets lots of natural light. It comes furnished with:
- Double bed
- Two wardrobes with great storage
- Blackout curtains
- Adjustable heating
- Excellent Wi-Fi router located in the room
It’s honestly one of the quietest rooms I’ve lived in in London.
The house includes:
- All bills included
- Weekly cleaner for all communal areas
- Washer dryer
- Dishwasher
- Large kitchen with multiple hobs
- Cozy living room and dining area
- Garden with seating area, freshly cleared for summer
One of my favourite things about living here is that it actually feels like a home rather than just a shared flat. Everyone is friendly, respectful and easy to live with. People have their own routines and jobs, so it’s generally calm and quiet, but everyone’s also happy to chat in the kitchen, have a coffee or occasional drink together. Friends visiting are absolutely welcome and the house has a really relaxed atmosphere.
The current housemates are mixed genders, mostly aged around 24–35, and all very lovely and considerate people. We’d probably suit someone who’s chill, friendly and sociable while still respectful of shared spaces.
Another huge plus for London: the house is dry and well-maintained with no mould issues, which was genuinely important to me after previous renting experiences in London. The agency has also always been responsive whenever anything needed fixing.
Available from around 11th June onwards.
Overall it’s a warm, cozy and genuinely lovely place to live, and I’d love for it to go to someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I have.
