Bright double room in a 2 bed semi-detached in Charlton. This is very much a home so looking for someone who is after that vibe. Move in date is flexible for the right person. Looking for someone to sign 6months to a year on the contract.

The room is partially furnished with everything you can see in the photos (bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and mirror) and has a south facing window so really lovely and sunny.

A bit about the house:
There is one shared bathroom (with bath) upstairs and downstairs a shared living room, lots of under-the-stairs storage for suitcases etc. and kitchen-diner. There is also a south facing garden (with shed) which is an absolute sun trap and glorious for sitting outside and drying laundry in the summer months.

A bit about Charlton:
House is definitely in the suburbs but totally doable trip into town. It’s a nice quiet area, lots of families, Charlton Park (saturday park run) at one end of the road, Charlton lido at the other. Near to Blackheath rugby/tennis club.
Transport connections:
15 mins walk downhill to Charlton Thameslink station (London Bridge 15mins, City Thameslink 25mins, Kings Cross 30mins)
15 mins bus journey to North Greenwich station (Jubilee line)
Blackheath village : 10min bus ride away or 15min cycle
Greenwich 15min bus ride away or 20min cycle

A bit about me:
I’ve been in this house for a 3 years now. Moved out of town wanting a bit more space and a garden and have fallen in love with the ‘burbs. I work from home Mon/Fri for a software startup but am
also a professional singer so often have gigs most weekends and tour quite a bit during the summer. All the usual stuff: I’m very social but also like quiet, alone time and love my sleep. I’m not a huge cook so the kitchen is nicely free a lot of the time! I enjoy a wine and a good tv binge. Also a big fan of getting dressed up and going out.
