I have a double room that is available in an ideal location close to Charlton Village with an excellent view over central London.
The flat is on the 5th floor of an apartment block, accessible by lift. It's a 2-bedroom apartment with a large living area, a spacious kitchen, and a shared bathroom with a separate shared toilet.
The room is £850 per month, and this is inclusive of bills (gas, electricity, water, council tax, wifi, TV licence) with a deposit of £495.
The room will be available from the beginning of February and will be available for at least 9 months, but this is also open to negotiation. Its a single-occupancy room; couples will not be accepted.
The Area and Transport
The flat has excellent transport links, within walking distance of Charlton station, connecting to London Bridge in 20 minutes, and buses that will connect you to North Greenwich and the Jubilee line in 15 minutes or Woolwich (Elizabeth and DLR) in 10 minutes.
Within immediate walking distance of the flat is a Co-op and a handful of pubs, Indian restaurants, and Chinese restaurants. A little further afield (20 minutes) is the Greenwich shopping park, which hosts a large Sainsburys, M&S Food, Asda, Aldi, Tkmaxx, B&M homestore, and Primark for all your immediate needs.
I am looking for someone who is respectful of where they live and respectful of those around them. I like to keep the place clean and tidy, and I would expect this from a flatmate. I work from home the majority of the time, so I would appreciate someone who is mindful of that and aware that I will be home often.
