Top floor/loft room for rent Mon-Fri in Charlton

We are a laid back couple in their 30s and 40s with a young daughter. We live in a 4-bed house on the Charlton Slopes, 5 min from Blackheath Standard or 8 min from Westcombe Park train station (15 min to London bridge or 20 min to Cannon street) or a few minutes walk to nearby bus stops on Eastcombe avenue or Charlton road.

The room for rent is located on the top floor, has a large double bed, sofa, additional chairs, an en-suite toilet with a small sink and its own individual shower. The room is very clean, comfy and bright, with velux windows and a large set of folding doors overlooking the back garden / Canary wharf / the O2.

There's a storage sideboard, a small desk, a cloth rail to store belongings. There's a Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler, a built-in TV to watch Netflix/others from the sofa or while in bed. EE wifi/broadband is accessible from the top room. A separate key will be provided in order to be able to lock the room.

Shared space include the living room, the equipped kitchen (including cutlery, pans, glasses/cups, space in the fridge and space for personal cutlery and food/drinks) including dining table, a utility room (washing machine and dryer - fresh linen could be provided), small back garden. 2 cats come and go from the kitchen/veranda via a catflap (mostly stay outside).

Good community feel with a few corner/grocery shops (M&S is about 8 min walk away), charity and coffee shops (SOS, Brother's bakery, Jade bakery), pubs (Green goddess, Royal standard), dry cleaners, very safe area (Greenwich and Charlton parks nearby, good primary schools, Blackheath standard library). At a walking distance to Blackheath village or Cutty Sark / Greenwich village or Maritime museum/Univeristy. Ikea, Sainsbury, Asda, Lidl, Aldi, M&S in Charlton are all within a short drive distance.

We could look into an off-street parking permit if you have a car (circa £120/year). If you have a bike, there's a side entrance to the house for bike storage.

Free from 1st February 2025, 3-month minimum stay, 1-month worth of rent as a deposit. All bills are included.

Looking for someone clean, independent, relatively quiet and reliable, who wouldn't mind our litltle daughter who is fairly quiet.
