Description

Hi,

We’re Ally and Matthew - our Flatmate is moving in with his GF which means we’re looking for a new flatmate for a cosy flat in the heart of Chelsea

The flat is about halfway between Sloane Square and South Ken and is the old porters flat of a Victorian mansion block.
The flat isn’t huge but there’s a kitchen, bathroom, 3 bedrooms and a decent sized sitting room which is a plus for London.

The rent includes all the hot water and heating - so it’s toasty in winter - and as it’s in the basement it keeps cool in the summer so perfect in that regard. There’s a porter who looks after the building and cleans all the communal areas and takes out the bins.
On top of that bills come to about 90/100 a month

The whole place was renovated a couple of years ago too, and our landlord is very relaxed but quick to respond if there’s an issue.

More than happy for folk to put their stamp on the place and there might be a few things we might want to get but essentially everything is here that you need already. The room is fully furnished sans the desk.

About us…
Ally is 29 has lived here for nearly 5 years and works at Westminster in environmental politics.

Matthew is 25 going on 26 and works in the City.

We’re both active and enjoy the occasional game of tennis in battersea on the weekends and going to the pub. We’re non judgmental and open minded and like to do all the normal things, see friends, drink, go places - get out London for the day and we’re looking for a flatmate who is the same and is sociable, chill, respectful and will treat the place like a home. To be clear we’re looking for another professional rather than a student (sorry!) as they will fit better into the routine of the flat.

We’re fairly clean and tidy but also chilled and relaxed. I don’t freak out over breakfast dishes being left in the sink occasionally (and nor should you!) The flats not really a party flat but the odd late night is cool. (Funnily enough my friend saw this and begged to disagree…)

One of the best things about the place (other than that it’s so central and you can walk everywhere) is that it’s always been a home rather than a soulless flats share and it’s important to us that it stays that way and that everyone living here gets along well.

We are looking for someone to move in mid September and we’ll all sign a lease together when you move in
