A sociable older person with limited mobility and memory issues is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help including picking up shopping, making and sharing a few evening meals, help with reminders, light help around the home, perhaps accompanying on the occasional short walk, plus most importantly the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a single room furnished with bed, desk, cupboards and its own basic, and shared use of the shower room, kitchen and sitting room in a 1st and 2nd floor maisonette. There is also a roof terrace.

The property is in an excellent location just of the King’s Road and less than 15 minutes’ walk from Sloane Square.

The person is French and loves company. They have friends who visit regularly and a supportive family. They watch TV – mainly news and documentaries – and occasional play simple card games such as Solitaire. They used to be a very busy interior designer.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a full-time student so as to be exempt from Council Tax, and a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
