Description

Very sadly, I am moving out of my lovely room in my ideally located top-floor Chelsea townhouse flat as I am moving to be closer to work due to changing jobs. But this means the room will be available from December for one lucky new housemate!

The room itself feels cosy but is also very bright as it has a massive window which lets in lots of natural light. It comes with a bed, mattress, bedside table, a built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is plenty of room for a desk and loads of storage space, including extra cupboards on the top floor landing.

You’ll be sharing with Andre, a South African guy, and Emma, an Irish girl, both professionals in their early 30s and absolutely lovely. Both are always up for a chat or to watch a movie / play sports together.

The flat itself is very peaceful and tranquil and so this is definitely not a party house but somewhere for you to call home and relax after a long day at work. As such, the new housemate needs to be mature, tidy, clean and respectful. In terms of bathroom, you’ll only be sharing with Andre. The flat has an amazing living room with high ceilings and lots of space (there is even a balcony). The kitchen is also very bright and airy.

In terms of location, it does not get any better being just a 10 minute walk from Earls Court with the District Line / Circle / Piccadilly (including night tube) lines going in any direction around London! Also 5-10 minutes away is West Brompton station with the District Line and Overground lines! There are also buses almost directly outside.

Also to mention, the area is about as safe as it gets in London as it’s very family orientated and so I have never had any issues with crime or anti-social behaviour even late at night. The flat is also on the top floor for extra security.

For shopping / activities, the flat is only 10 minutes from the iconic Kings Road but also 10 minutes from Fulham Broadway (with gyms, restaurants and shops) or 15 from High Street Kensington on the District / Circle lines. There are also lots of supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. (There’s even a hospital within 10 minute walk should that ever be needed😅)

Bills come to around £150 a month each on top of the £985 rent and the deposit is about £1000. References will be required by the letting agent

The property is managed by an agent who is very responsive in terms of fixing any issues so that’s been really great.

I have just secured a new place closer to work and so I’m looking to move out as soon as possible. Viewings will be arranged over the next week so get in touch. When messaging, please include some details about yourself including where you are from, your age, interests, working situation, and the date you want to move in🙂
