5-10 minutes walk away
Description
Hi, I’m looking for a flatmate to join me in this recently renovated two bed, one bathroom flat, under five minutes walk from the river. Currently more inclined towards a short term rental, as tenancy runs out in October, but not ruling out extending this.
All bills included.
The flat is open plan with a very decent sized bathroom, and the available room is a double bedroom with a chest of drawers and wardrobe. There is currently enough space for a small desk and chair, however a larger desk would fit if the chest of drawers is taken out.
The flat is a 10 minute walk from Gunnersbury station (District Line and Overground), a 3 minute walk from Kew Bridge station (National Rail leaving every 15 mins on weekday mornings to Clapham Junction, Vauxhall and Waterloo), and less than 20 minutes walk from Chiswick High Road, which has a wide variety of shops, restaurant and bars to choose from.
The river is less than 5 minutes away, and has a selection of pubs for an evening pint, Sunday roast, or a wind down run or walk. Kew Gardens is a 15 minutes walk away, and it's a tranquil hour long river walk to Richmond. Bus and tube options also exist.
A bit about me
I’m Raphael, 30, and work as a project engineer. I split my days about 50/50 between WFH and being in the office/on site. I'm a keen runner, follow the NBA closely and have dabbled in bouldering. I also keep fairly up to date with the football, but retired from the torture of watching religiously about six years ago (I am sometimes tempted to go watch Brentford, as they're only a stone's throw away).
I am naturally very sociable, but with work demands, and hitting 30, I have slowed down a fair bit, and perfectly understand everyone's need for personal space and time. I will be starting a full time MBA in a couple months, so looking forward to the mature student life. A fellow student would also mean we could be exempt from council tax all together.
I am looking for someone tidy and respectful, especially in shared spaces, as would like for us both to come home to a relaxing environment. If you're active and reasonably outgoing, happy for us to go for a long run or few drinks (alcohol free included) together. That said, perfectly fine with a quiet soul as well provided there's no awkwardness.
Please get in touch if you're interested in a viewing and you think we'd get along well.
