Double room available is Chiswick/Kew Bridge

We have a furnished double room available in our 3 bedroom flat from early August. The flat is close to the Thames by Strand on the Green, about 12 minutes walk from Gunnersbury station (District Line and Overground) and 8 minutes walk from Kew Bridge station (National Rail towards Clapham and Waterloo).

Please note: We are a Christian household, and so we're looking for another practising Christian who shares our faith.

The House (Council Tax Band E)

The house is fully furnished, with a large south facing lounge, decent sized kitchen with dishwasher, and two bathrooms. We’re literally seconds from the Thames Path, and there are 5 pubs within a 5 minute walk. Kew Gardens is about a 15 minute walk away.

The room

A small, double room with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Rent is £565 pcm plus around £170 a month for bills. Bills include council tax, broadband, utilities and communal incidentals.

The room is off the communal kitchen, so is not suitable for shift workers / people needing to sleep early in the evening, late into the morning, or during the day.

Housemates

We’re two females in our late 30s. Both of us have lived in London for around 10 years. We both work in the civil service, and attend churches in West London.

We enjoy running, a glass of wine or 2, and the occasional weekend away together. One of us is also into cycling and is an avid reader (and book collector), while the other plays netball and loves travelling.

We also have a lovely, 2-year old cat, who is pretty lazy and sleeps a lot, but will bless you with a snuggle every now and then!
