Description
I'm looking for an awakened Lodger for a glorified share... My child has flown the nest and I travel a lot for work now so am rarely home (usually away for atleast 2/3 of the year) I come back for a month/6 weeks at most and am off again.
I have a spare room available in renovated 2 bed gff; double bed & wardrobe with another open cupboard storage, room overlooks balcony & rear of estate/communal garden.
Simple flat with Black ceramic floor throughout (shoe-free & slippers)
Chemical-free household (no aerosols or any nasties... beeswax & essential oils candles etc)
All household cleaning products are from Bio-D & in bulk supply so no need to buy in any -rent contributes to household cleaning materials supplied.
Half size dishwasher
Miele washer dryer
Large fridge freezer
Instant pot 16 in one multi cooker with air fryer lid
Simple barista style coffee machine with steam mode
24/7 CCTV on front, back and entry connected to internet.
WiFi off & wired/ethernet cables with adaptors for devices (happy for you to switch on if you want when I'm away but I try to keep EMF minimized)
Hepa Air purifier on 24/7 in the living room
Separate toilet with cloakroom sink
Bathroom; Bathtub with electric shower over.
Some indoor plants that require watering (I have a lovely trusted cleaner so no biggy if you want to skip that duty)
Immediate upstairs neighbours; family with two children.
No others adjoining
It's a family-orientated block with a few nosy oldies who are best kept at arms length!
As I travel for work, post for the entire address is diverted so no royal mail deliveries, only amazon/courier if you are in.
I don't have a TV licence -so if you're not equally defiant this is not the household for you.
Smoking ok on the balcony, I am a social smoker at the pub but rarely smoke at home, am happy to not smoke on/use the balcony if preferred (as room overlooks it) I rarely use that space anyway... If you want to propagate on it even better!
I rarely have visitors over, I value my space and the energy in it (crystals, sage yada ya) so expect a heads up if you want to have people over when I'm around (I will keep you informed of dates) so we can plan around this.
I work from home when I am back.
Water inc in bills, my current gas & electricity usage is nominal so any increased usage will need to be paid a month in areers, meter readings are submitted each month to generate this.
I have a cleaner who has a key and comes in for £25ph for 2hrs once a fortnight when I'm home, and pops in to water plants when I'm away -this is open to change if you are ok watering plants & don't want her popping in.
But If you would like her to do regular cleaning she is available but you'd have to pay her.
I've tried to be as thorough as possible to find a like-mind who is freedom-orientated... ;)
Students suited also.
