Description
Hi,
Who I am: I’m a current flatmate in 103 Chiswick Village who is moving out and buying his place so need a replacement tenant to occupy my sunny, spacious room!
Who is in the flat: We’re a friendly and quiet bunch and I’m sure you’ll make this place a home for yourself in no time. We have an Indian couple (Krishna and Sevrita), Joe (PHD student) and Baron (works for the council).
Other bills/ costs: We have a £200 one-off charge to cover all council tax charges for the full term of your tenancy (so the longer you stay, the cheaper it is haha).
Moving in date information: So I plan to complete my house purchase by 31 October and accordingly give my months notice by 1 October. I’ll confirm if the date slips since the house purchase is a variable process and even the best-laid plans can go awry so I wouldn’t want to misrepresent this to you. I do plan to call my solicitors just before 1 October to confirm this. My arrangement with the agent is that if the 31 October date slips, I would simply need an immediate replacement to take over my lease (during November and December).
The room itself: This is on the first floor. It’s very spacious with plenty of storage space, and comes with a work desk (not the same one you can see in the pictures), dresser and a large window for plenty of natural lighting. We have 2 bathrooms (one has a shower), and a large living room area and kitchen.
Access to the flat also comes with access to a Chiswick Village group chat, bike shed (cost is like £15/ year) and a village-only garden with BBQ equipment. This green space hosts numerous events over the year. Your closest supermarket is Co-Op but there’s a very big Sainsbury’s near Chiswick Park and this area hosts numerous farmers markets as well. Your closest station is Gunnersbury which is on the District and Overground lines.
The agency, Simple Simba has been quite flexible and amenable and can share WA numbers to a few people there to make your life a tiny bit easier, too.
Happy to show you around in person, share more photos and field any questions that you might have!! :D I look forward to hearing back and getting into a call if that helps?
