Looking for an individual to fill a large double room in our chilled, queer-friendly Chiswick house! Room will be available from the 15th December.

House information:

Terraced house located in between Stamford Brook station (8ish minute walk) and Turnham Green (12-15 minute walk) on a quiet street. House is at the top end of Chiswick High Road, which has lots of pubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and independent shops. Bus stop at end of road. Also located about 15-20 minute walk from the river and a 30 minute walk from Hammersmith.

House has a small garden with outside seating. There is a living room, kitchen with table, one bathroom with shower, bath and toilet and another toilet downstairs. Other amenities: dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Clothes line in garden to dry clothes outside in summer. There is also enough space to store bikes in the kitchen.

Landlord pays for council tax. We pay rent, electricity and gas, water and broadband. This comes to less than £100 per month.

On-street parking is available by permit issued by the local council.

Room:

Double Room looking out onto the quiet street. This is a very spacious double bedroom with lots of natural light. Room will be semi furnished, including a bed, chest of drawers, small side table, cabinet and cupboard. You will need to bring a desk if you work from home, and there's plenty of room to do so, but there is also ability to work downstairs.

The rent for the double room is £730. Deposit will be £607.

Some info about us! :

The house is currently occupied by Rachel, Beth and Lydia, with Diana currently staying in Lydia's room until the end of the year.

Rachel – 31, works in education. Likes music, film and reading, travel, and trying out new food with friends. Has a big love of tea, can often be found in the kitchen making numerous cups a day! Works from home most of the week, but usually in the office a couple of times a week.

Beth - 30, professional museum basement dweller. Works in the office every weekday. Enjoys video games, exploring London, painting and hiking. Usually found in the pub getting merry with friends.

Lydia - 26, works in film & tv. Mainly at work (!) but likes to spend the weekend being active. Enjoys coffee, running, reading, hiking, and good food.

What we want from a tenant:

Landlord has requested any prospective tenants are in full time employment. No students.

We are looking for chilled and friendly people who are sociable but are also happy to be in their own company. 25 - 35 years old preferred. Any gender. References from a current landlord required.
