The tenancy transfer will be handled formally through the letting agency, and the contract will be signed with them. All payments (deposit and rent) should be made directly to the agency in accordance with their standard procedure. Please note that the agency may require proof of income. Typically, they ask that the tenant’s annual income meets the UK affordability requirement (usually around 2.5 times the annual rent), or alternatively, a suitable UK-based guarantor may be required. I am ideally looking for someone who can take over the tenancy until 18 September.
