Hi everyone! :)
We have a lovely room available in our cosy Clapham flat, as I am sadly leaving to move in with friends. We're 5-10 mins (depending on how fast you walk :P) from Clapham Common station as well as the common itself For the location, the price is a complete steal!!
The flat is split over two floors with the living area, one bathroom and the available room downstairs and the other three rooms plus extra bathroom upstairs. You would have sole use of the bathroom downstairs, so it acts as an external en-suite. The room is a good sized double with an enormous wardrobe.
Current flatmates are Alison (27), Rachel (26) and Anna (27). Anna is a Psychologist, Rachel is a HR manager and Alison works in marketing - we work from home now and again.
We're sociable, super friendly and laid back flat, and we've become close friends through Spareroom (although we all have our own friends and things going on). The girls are looking for someone similar who would like to hang out as flat from time to time with a Netflix session or a bottomless/roast/ drinks (aka not a room hermit :P).
I can be really flexible on the move in date, so the room is available from 13th August, but the room needs to be filled by 13th September at the latest.
Our landlady, Philippa, is incredible and she's happy to get in extra furniture that you might need (such as a new desk for wfh)!
