I am going travelling for 3-4 months and looking to rent my room out whilst I am away. The room will be available from 10th November 2025.

The flat is a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat that was completely refurbished when I bought it.
The room is £1050 per month including bills. It is a double bedroom, fully furnished and with big windows with lots light as well as its own en-suite bathroom.

The kitchen has all the mod-cons including dishwasher and washing machine / dryer. The building has a large sunny communal garden which is great for sunbathing during the summer months as it is always quiet. The room is big enough to fit a desk in but there is also one in the lounge for you to use if you work from home. Both existing housemates also tend to do 2 days a week from home.

The rooms come with all bills included: water, gas, electric, internet and a fabulous cleaner who comes every Friday.

The flat is located on Kings Avenue which is just on the border of Clapham and Brixton. There is a Sainsburys Local and anytime fitness gym about 200m from the flat. Abbeville Village is conveniently close with great coffee shops, brunch spots, pubs, restaurants etc.

Clapham Common is a 10-15min walk or the 137 and 417 buses stop just outside and come every 3 minutes. To walk to Brixton tube station takes about 20mins or the 355 stops just outside and runs every 10-15mins.
I’ve got a cat called Willow who may be staying behind whilst I go travelling, she is very friendly, though more likely to be trying to get you to play with her rather than snuggling up on your lap.

One of the housemates is 35, she works in HR for a big media company. She has been living here for over 2 years. She loves Star Wars, everything about Paris and fashion. Whilst the other is 30, just moved over from Australia and works in finance. Both love a glass of wine and a gossip in the evenings whilst watching films, cooking or chilling.
