Single room in friendly, relaxed house in Clapham

We're looking for a new flatmate to join us in our beautiful, friendly and chilled house in Clapham.

Located a five minute walk from the bars, restaurants and shops of Northcote Road and Battersea Rise and a five minute walk in the other direction to Clapham Common. The house is nearly halfway between the overground at Clapham Junction and Clapham Underground station (a fifteen minute walk to both). The area is quiet and family friendly but with plenty of places to meet friends and socialise.

The house has a gorgeous shared living room with a well equipped and good sized kitchen diner. The kitchen has bi-folding doors leading out on to a small private garden which has proved to be a great suntrap in the summer.

The room is very bright and currently furnished with a single bed (you might be able to squeeze in a double) and wardrobe. Although the room is small I've found it really comfortable with sufficient storage space. I'll be taking the chest of drawers with me but the wardrobe will stay and there's plenty of storage space beneath the bed. The new occupant will be sharing a modern bathroom with two other girls (complete with shower and bath).

Other amenities available include: dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine

You'll be sharing with three girls in their late twenties/early thirties. Charlotte and Alison are both civil servants and Emma works in Marketing. Although we all have our own interests and social lives we get on really well and enjoy cooking house meals together when we're all in and watching a good TV show.

The house isn't a party house and as professionals working during the week we're looking for someone who will respect that and help keep the house clean and tidy and make it a home. The room is probably best suited to someone working part time and studying who is content with a smaller room in order to save money.

The current lease is up in March 2022 and we'll arrange to have the leasing agreement changed to have your name on it. The landlord has been incredibly helpful during our time in the house since Sept 2019.

The room is £620 a month and we all pay £70-90 a month into a house account which covers all bills including a cleaner, WiFi and Virgin media TV (with netflix and amazon prime etc) and items for the house like toilet paper, dishwasher tablets etc.

The room is available from end of July but we're able to be flexible so if you're interested please do get in touch! We're happy to accommodate virtual viewings and in person viewings where possible.
