Huge double room in Clapham

Hi all,

One of our housemates is sadly moving out so we’re looking for a replacement. It's a great room for a professional person looking to live somewhere homely and sociable.

The room is available from around middle / end January. The dates can be flexible.

The house:
It’s a large 4-storey house with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen/lounge and a lovely little garden. The property is managed by a private landlord who is really good and responsive.

Us: We are a friendly bunch of professional girls, all in our early thirties. We all enjoy sport, running, yoga and keeping active. In the winter we also enjoy a cosy night in with a movie & takeaway. In the summer we are usually heading to the common post work for a picnic! There is always someone to have a glass (or bottle) of wine with after a stressful day at the office and we’re looking for someone who can really fit in. We’ve all become close friends but we of course do have our own lives and own friendships groups outside of the house.

The room:
The room available is on the 2nd floor. It’s a huge lovely light room, with plenty of space to work from home. It’s fully furnished with a king sized bed, 2 x chest of drawers, 2 x bed side tables and 2 x built in wardrobes.

The location:
The house is located just off Clapham High Street, within 10 mins walk of Clapham Common and Clapham North tube stations and Clapham High Street overground station. It’s rumoured we have a 1Rebel opening at the end of our road & we just had a M&S open on Clapham High Street too!

Rent and bills:
Rent is £940 month paid on the 1st of the month.
Bills cost around £170 a month each (gas, electricity, internet, council tax - band F, cleaner for communal areas fortnightly).
The deposit for the room is £874

We like to keep the house tidy and have a cleaner fortnightly. We’re looking for someone laid back and friendly. The house is big so people have their own space but with the option of joining in on the house chat. We want someone who feels this is a home, not just a place to sleep! We've all lived here a while, which is proof of how much we like it here and think it's a great place to live.
