Cozy home in the heart of Clapham

I’m looking for a great flatmate to share a newly renovated split-level apartment in the heart of Clapham. The flat has been done up to a high spec and feels bright, cosy and well put together, with new furniture, wooden floors, hallway carpets, a new kitchen and bathroom, double-glazed acoustic windows, and plenty of space to actually enjoy living in.

The flat is fully furnished, including a new 65" OLED TV, high-end cookware, a Ninja air fryer grill, breakfast bar, and an expandable dining ideal for the occasional dinner, drinks, games night or relaxed evening with friends.

Your room is on its own split level, so it feels very private and doesn’t share a wall with the other bedrooms. It comes with a comfy double bed, standing desk, fitted wardrobe, mirror and new double-glazed acoustic window. A chest of drawers can be added if needed.

It’ll just be the two of us living here. The third bedroom will be used as a shared office / occasional guest room, so there’s more breathing room than in a typical flatshare. Bills are around £200 per month.

Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: right in the heart of Clapham, steps from great restaurants, bars and cafés, and about a 5-minute walk from both Clapham Common and Clapham North stations.

A bit about the home I want to create: I’d like it to feel cosy, stable, welcoming and fun - somewhere that has life in it, but still respects personal space. I’m sociable and enjoy a chat, dinner, movie night or the occasional drink, but I also really value space and a calm, clean and respectful home. Not looking for a party house, but definitely not a cold, silent house either.

Because the flat has been newly renovated and furnished, I’m looking for someone clean, considerate and tidy who will enjoy the space and look after it. Ideally someone warm, easy-going, independent, and up for making the flat feel like a proper home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
