Double room with own bathroom in Clapham Common

Hi, my name is Katarina, and I've been living in this wonderful Clapham flat since I moved to London from New York six months ago. Unfortunately, my roommate (also from the US) has to move back home, so I am looking for someone to take her place. it has become necessary that Brooke give up the flat before the end of the lease (which ends in October). We're asking for someone who is comfortable taking over the existing lease with plans to renew with me this October.

The flat is in an extremely good location, with it being less than a five minute walk to bus transportation to Clapham Junction, and a 8-10 minute walk to the Clapham Common underground train. The flat is positioned right between the busy Wandsworth road (which is filled with loads of bars, cafes and great restaurants) and the beautiful Clapham common. As for you, you'll have a spacious double room with your own bathroom across the hall, access to a balcony, and a fireplace in the living room!

Brooke, the current flatmate, and I take so much pride in making the flat as cozy, welcoming, and homey as we can, and it would be wonderful to have a new flatmate with the same values! We also love to watch movies in the living room/go out for drinks regularly, so ideally am looking for similar energy in a new flatmate!

A little more about me personally – I am a graphic designer working in Chiswick Park currently, and I work from home 2 days out of the week typically. I like to keep my space tidy (especially the living room) but I'm also an artist and love to do arts and crafts/paint by numbers, so I guess a balance of neat and organized chaos at times :) Currently I am obsessed with going to weekly yoga/dinners with a yoga club, and do figure drawing every Wednesdays at a cafe down the road, and would be more than happy to go together!

Our landlords are also very nice people, and usually are very responsive, eager to help if any issues arise with the flat.
