Double Room between Clapham and Battersea

Lovely double room in a 3-bed, two storey flat, walking distance to Clapham Old Town and Battersea Park, available from 23rd August.

We are two girls who have recently moved to London, Jess (25) who works in Children’s Mental Health and Cathy (25) who works in Events.

We are looking for someone laid back friendly, clean and tidy to join our spacious, clean relaxed home - female only. Sorry no students. We love exploring new parts of the city, planning flat dinners and drinks at new restaurants as well going for walks round the common or a chilled movie night, but are equally respectful of each other’s space.

The house is fully furnished and the bedroom includes a double bed, wardrobe and bedside table. There's a lot of space and storage in the house and a shared coat rack for hanging jackets on the landing. The bathroom is a good size with a shower/bath and storage space.
The communal downstairs has a spacious living room (currently with an 'office' area where we are WFH a few days a week), which opens out onto the balcony, as well as a separate kitchen dining area.

The flat is in a great location between Clapham old town and Battersea, with a number of transport links into the city. We are around 10-15 minutes walk from Clapham Common tube station (Northern Line) through Clapham Common old town which feels safe at all hours. Battersea Power Station(northern line) is around a 15 minute walk away. Queenstown Road station is less than a 10 minute walk for direct trains to Waterloo and access to the Victoria Line at Vauxhall. We are on direct bus routes to Vauxhall, Sloane Square and Knightsbridge for other tube access. The overground at Wandsworth Road is also under a 10 minute walk. Clapham junction is a 25 minute walk or short bus ride away. Walking to Battersea Power Station takes less than 20 minutes!

Rent is £870 for the room + roughly £90 for bills per month, comprising of council tax (wandsworth), gas, water, electric and internet. We have a smart meter so it can change slightly in the winter months after using less in summer!
