Double bedroom with en-suite in stunning flat

We are looking to rent out a double room with private en-suite in our property for six months (with possibility to extend beyond), from 1st September 2024.

The property is a duplex split-level flat at the top of a beautiful Victorian building. As such, there are amazing views of the London skyline from the bedrooms and balcony. In the flat there are three bedrooms and as many bathrooms, with your bedroom boasting its own en-suite, meaning you will not have to share a bathroom or toilet. Your bedroom has ample storage space and a comfortable double bed, desk, and chair.

We are a couple in our early thirties. Both very active, we spend time exercising after work and socialising at weekends but also enjoy nights in cooking, watching television and relaxing in our living room. Sarah works as a Project Manager and Antoine works as a charity fundraiser. We both work from home approximately 2 days a week. We have a lovely and very sociable cat, Gilbert, too.

We are looking for a professional who preferably doesn’t work from home. Although we want someone to be a part of our home, we are looking for someone who is independent and makes occasional and considerate use of communal spaces.

Our flat is located seconds away from Clapham Common and its wonderful greenery, cafes, and sports facilities. All kinds of shops are within a 5-minute walk, including a large supermarket and many convenience stores. Anything and everything you need is quite literally on our doorstep, and as our road is purely residential, it is always quiet. In terms of transports, we have many bus routes accessible from the end of the road and Clapham Junction is a 10-minute walk away. Clapham Common is our nearest tube station and can be accessed on foot in 15 minutes, or via a short 5-minute bus ride.
