Huge & Bright Double in Clapham

We’re looking for a new housemate to fill a huge double bedroom in our shared house.

About the room:
This large double room comes fully furnished with a bed & mattress, standing wardrobe, chest of drawers, and lots of space to fit a desk too if you're working from home as well. The room overlooks the front of the house and shares the first floor bathroom with two other people.

About the house:
The property has 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The house has plenty of shared space including a large fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a large living room with TV (firestick with sports, movies, Netflix etc), plus additional dining room. We've also got a lovely garden that is perfect for BBQs in the summer and luckily gets the sun all day!

About the housemates:
We are currently three professionals - two guys: James (31), who works in Property Finance, Michael (32) who also works in Finance and one girl, Emily (27), an interior designer.

We like to hang out as a house but also respect each other's space, and we'd like to find a housemate that fits in and treats the house like a home.

Bills and terms:
We have a private landlady so there are no agency fees or references needed, only proof of employment (sorry - no students).
Rent for this room is £1,060 per month. We are one month into a new 6 month rolling contract which started 15th September, and you’ll need to sign on to the new contract.

Our bills are currently approximately £150pp per month.
The house is a 2 minute walk to Abbeville village where there are plenty of amenities including shops, restaurants and a pub. Clapham Common is only a 10 minute walk away, as is Clapham Common station (Northern Line), or you have a 20 minute walk to Brixton station (Victoria Line).

We also take in turns to pay for a cleaner every 2 weeks, which is £48 for 3 hours to clean all the communal areas.

About you:
We're looking for a female housemate (just to keep the gender balance) aged 27-32 year old. We will offer you a viewing first and then possibly ask one or two people to join us for a drink before offering the room to anyone, as it’s important that we get the right person in.
