An interesting, friendly and ‘with it’ older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to give them a mix of up to 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

The most important thing is the reassurance – for her and her family – of having someone sleeping in the property overnight, in case of an emergency. Additionally, she would value a little practical help with tasks such as picking up shopping, cooking (and sharing) a few meals, taking out bins, emptying the dishwasher, occasional help making the bed if family are visiting and ad hoc other practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen and dining room, garden, and occasionally the sitting room.

The property is in an excellent residential location close to the open space of Clapham Common and nearby shops and services. There are excellent bus routes to Clapham Junction, Sloane Square, Waterloo etc

The lady reads the Times and Telegraph, enjoys the news and Antiques Roadshow, listening to Radio 4, Sky Arts, her garden, painting, playing cards. She enjoys a roast, steak, and the occasional curry or Chinese takeaway. She is friendly and has a sense of humour.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a friendly, kind, reliable, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
