Large, bright double room with own bathroom available in spacious Clapham 2-bed

Hello!

I’m looking for someone to take over my tenancy in my lovely 2 bed flat in Clapham as I’m moving into my own place. Flexible move in date - between late December to late January.

It’s a top floor double bedroom that comes furnished (bed with storage / bedside table / large chest of drawers/ clothing rail/ desk). It’s very light and spacious, and has the benefit of two eaves storage cupboards - excellent if you have lots of clothes! Very quiet and private feeling as you have a set of stairs up to it from the rest of the flat below.

The rent is £1,300 ex bills and the bedroom comes with its own separate bathroom with bath / shower.

The flat is a big (93 sq. m) top floor maisonette with its own front door, split across two floors, and with a large balcony overlooking the gardens below - a lovely suntrap in the summer.

The location is great area - just off Clapham high street, fractionally closer to Clapham North station (around 8 mins walk) than Clapham Common. It’s a quiet residential street with nice neighbours and also close to Battersea park / power station - about 15-20 minute walk.

A little message from my flatmate:

‘I'm 27 and work in finance in the city and work in the office around 4 days a week, wfh the rest. I love to eat, all things food related, going out for meals and trying new places. I enjoy socialising, going out for drinks and the occasional night out. But also love a night in, and appreciate my own down time and space. I also enjoy going to the gym and doing other fitness classes, Muay Thai, boxing etc, always happy to have a gym buddy.

Ideally I’d love to live with someone who could become a friend, do movie nights/dinners, social activities etc
