Small Double & En-suite | Between The Commons

Bright furnished double room with your own private bathroom in a beautiful 2-bed flat Between the Commons, SW11.

I’m looking for someone to take the second bedroom in my flat in one of my favourite parts of South West London.

The flat is in Between the Commons, a short walk from Northcote Road, with both Clapham and Wandsworth Commons nearby. Clapham South is around half a mile away, with Clapham Junction also easily accessible, so getting into central London is very straightforward.

The room

The bedroom is small, fully furnished and gets plenty of natural light. It comes with:

* small double bed
* Large wardrobe
* Proper desk/workspace, ideal for WFH
* Good storage
* Your own private bathroom immediately next to the bedroom. It isn’t physically attached to the room, but it would be yours rather than a shared bathroom.

The flat

It’s a bright, spacious and recently finished two-bedroom flat with a lot more character than your standard London rental.

There’s a large open-plan kitchen/living/dining area with high ceilings, period detailing, big windows and plenty of natural light.

The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine etc., and there is a proper dining table rather than having to eat from a kitchen counter.

The living area has two sofas, TV, fireplace and plenty of room to actually relax, so I’m looking for someone who wants the place to feel like a home rather than just renting a bedroom.

Location

The location is difficult to beat.

You’re right Between the Commons, with Northcote Road nearby for cafés, pubs, restaurants, shops and gyms, and both Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common within easy reach.

Clapham South gives you the Northern Line, while Clapham Junction provides quick trains into Victoria and Waterloo.

Who I’m looking for

Ideally another working professional who is friendly, clean, considerate and wants a genuinely nice place to live.

I’m sociable and very happy to have dinner/a drink/watch TV together from time to time, but equally have my own life and completely respect each other’s space. I’m definitely not looking for either a completely anonymous flatshare or someone who feels obliged to socialise every evening.

The main thing is finding someone I get on with who will treat the flat as their home.
