We have an extremely large double bedroom (largest in the house!) That is available to rent on a long term basis.

The bedroom is on the front of the property and gets tons of natural light, it comes furnished with a double bed (with storage space underneath) wardrobes, bedside tables, and large chest of drawers. It also has a lovely feature fireplace.

The property itself is a large Victorian terrace with basement and attic (great for storage), big living/dining room, guest WC, and a great breakfast kitchen with conservatory (my fav room..) that leads out onto a sunny paved garden with plenty of loungers and seating.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a recently fitted bathroom with a great shower (which we all share). There is 'on street parking' outside, which you would need a general parking permit from Lambeth council (if you want to leave a car there during the daytime).

The monthly rent for the room is £1000 and the bills work out to around £180 - £200 each, per month and this includes Council Tax, Gas, Water, Electricity, TV License, Wi-Fi etc.. we also have a cleaner that comes in every week.

We are well located for public transport with Clapham North station around a five minute walk, and Stockwell station around 10 mins away.

You will be sharing with myself (Helen) and Matt, we are both professionals in our late 30's. We both work pretty long hours during the week, and as Matt is addicted to holidays, he is often away…

I tend to potter about in the garden, it's one of my many 'half finished' creative projects... as I often get distracted by my other passion of mixing the 'perfect' Bloody Mary!

I also have a small 11year old Tibetan spaniel called ‘Piglet’ who I ‘Co-parent’ for half of the week, she spends most of the day snoozing so she’s no problem!

I have lived here for almost seven years and Matt over eight years, our third housemate will be sadly leaving us to move in with his girlfriend, so the room will be available from 25th September . Ideally we are looking for someone who will be able to move in as close to this date as possible, and keen to have another housemate who is friendly and relaxed, (and not adverse to testing my bloody Mary's once in a while)

We deal with the landlord directly, so there are no agents to go through, so no pesky fees.... etc..
