Large Double: Quiet, Luxury House Clapham Common

Spacious double room in recently refurbished house, with lots of luxury touches, landing and an amazing bathroom! You’ll live on the top floor of a beautiful Victorian townhouse, which is barely a stone’s throw from the vast green spaces of Clapham Common.

Your housemates will be friendly, fun, considerate and easy going people. We are all generally quite busy with work and social lives but we are always up for a chat in the kitchen. We also enjoy our quiet time in our rooms. My 13-year-old son also stays with me sometimes and has his own room. He is a mature kid with a good sense of humour. He likes technology, coding, table tennis and chess and dreams of owning a Tesla.

As you will imagine, it is not a party house and won’t be for those looking for that vibe. Most likely you will appreciate the finer things in life: nice furnishings, a lovely spacious kitchen, relaxing patio garden, little luxuries, cordial company, a vast green space at the top of the road, a chat over a glass of wine and a quiet, salubrious street.

The house is between Clapham Common Tube (10 minutes’ walk) and Clapham Junction Rail (15 minutes), so well placed for getting just about anywhere. There is also a bus stop at the top of the road. And for Battersea/Clapham’s famous selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes you are within easy walking distance of both the Old Town and Northcote Road.
