Our home is a huge, three-storey, attractive and well-maintained Edwardian terrace which overlooks Clapham Common and has a landscaped, mature and well-stocked garden and secure bicycle storage. Shared rooms include the kitchen, utility room, dining room and comfortable living room.
The bedroom is a huge double (5.1 x 3.2m) on the ground floor at the back of the property which opens onto the garden. It has plenty of space for a desk and chair in addition to the bed and wardrobe which are provided.
The house is occupied by three others (all male currently) making a total of four with you. The size of the house and the fact that we all spend nights/weekends (and working days) away mean you'll never feel crowded.
The landlord is in his 50s, gay and spends around nine months of the year abroad. The other two are in their 30s and work in retail property management and consultancy
The rent includes Council Tax, water/sewage charges, a weekly cleaner (for shared spaces) and the TV licence. Gas, electricity and fibre internet charges are shared equally (split four ways) and average £70/month.
On-street parking is available and we are near to Waitrose, ASDA, Lidl, Co-op and Tesco for big shops plus Tesco Metro and Sainsbury's Local for incidentals. The renowned Northcote Road is also nearby for middle-to-upmarket scran, wine bars, clothes, breads, market stalls and general strolling.
