This very large master bedroom is available in a spacious, clean and friendly house, with fully equipped large kitchen, huge bright living room and two bathrooms. Great location being close to Clapham Common tube station. All bills (which are managed by the housemates) and cleaner included in price.
I have really enjoyed living here for 2 years and am only leaving to move in with my boyfriend, but I will definitely miss the room and house!
The Property:
This house is amazing to live in. It is well maintained and very spacious, with high ceilings, a huge bright living room/reception area and large kitchen with dining table. There are 5 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle etc.. There is also a tumble dryer in the basement. There is a private garden with BBQ, table and chairs.
The Room:
The bedroom itself is absolutely huge (king-sized bed in photos!). It is south facing so receives brilliant sunlight. It has a Juliette balcony, original fireplace and two built in wardrobes. Although the room is technically unfurnished, I am open to selling furniture (king size bed, large desk, bed side table, mirror, bookcase, dressing table).
The Location:
The house is a 6 minute walk from Clapham common tube station and a 15 minute walk to Brixton. The road is residential and very quiet. There are also many bus stops, supermarkets and pubs nearby, all within a 5-10 minute walk of the house!
The Housemates:
Four friendly, easy going but responsible housemates live here: 3 girls and 1 guy. They are young professionals, aged between 26-31, who are sociable and enjoy spending time together, yet also understand and respect personal time and space.
THE MONEY AND THE NITTY GRITTY:
Rent is £980 including all bills, broadband and fortnightly cleaner. Deposit is £850. The property is managed by Haart, who charge £50 admin fee as part of a change of sharer on the tenancy agreement. Our landlord is very prompt and professional at tending to any issues raised. The room is available from 21 August.
References will be required as we go through the agent for the letting. Please note: for the referencing you will be required to have an income over £28,500.
Rent is due 18th of the month so you would be on the tenancy agreement from 18th August as long as the referencing/ checks by the agency are completed in time.
