Short term Double room - Clapham Old Town

A recently renovated two-storey apartment situated in Clapham Old Town. The flat has a large, modern, bright open plan living room and kitchen on the ground floor with access to a large garden, ideal for summer evenings.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are positioned on the lower ground floor.

Perfectly located, with a mere five-minute walk to local amenities (doctors, supermarkets, gyms, pubs and shops) and just 10 minutes to Clapham Common station. We are also a five minute walk away from Wandsworth Road overground station and a further 15 minutes to Stockwell station.

The Room

A short term rental (initially from mid July - end of September/early Oct).

A large, bright, double bedroom with built-in wardrobes, a double bed, chest of drawers and an adjoining bathroom. The bathroom will be shared with one other housemate, Kelsey.

The flatmates

Milly – I’m 33 and the owner of the property. Having worked as an interior designer for the past ten years, I am currently in the process of having a total career change! I am working as a nursery assistant and helping out part-time at a local wellness studio, whilst undertaking trauma informed breathwork training. I have discovered a love for holistic healing so have tried to create a peaceful and beautiful little sanctuary within the flat! Occasionally I host sound bath events and reiki shares at the flat which you'll be able to participate in (if it's of interest)! I have also been sober for the past year and enjoying the lifestyle shift.

I really enjoy going for walks, interior design, travel, wellbeing and attending conscious events.

Kelsey - I’m 31, from Australia and work as a nurse in a healthcare clinic in central London. I love exploring London, yoga, trying delicious new brunch spots, going for cocktails and am interested in travel, nature and spirituality.

About you

We are looking for someone to take the room initially for a 3 month period (open to shorter lets). We would like to live with someone who is friendly, kind, respectful and positive. Whilst we are both social and have our own separate group of friends, we would love to make a new friend in our housemate and occasionally spend time collectively – whether it’s going for dinner, a weekend walk and coffee or taking a class. We like to keep our home very clean and calm, so are looking for someone who wants to live the same way.
