Hi Potential new flatmate!
I have a room available from 10th November in an amazing apartment, in a gated development, in the heart of Clapham. My current flatmate is leaving, so I'm looking for someone to come and take over her place on the tenancy, which is in place until November 2025, with the option to renew further.
The apartment itself is split level and comprises a modern kitchen with high quality integrated appliances and a separate, spacious living room. There are two double bedrooms, one en-suite and a further family bathroom.
The room available is on the lower ground floor, and you will have the family bathroom to yourself (only exception is guests will need to use this bathroom too, as it’s next to the living room). It comes furnished with a double bed, mattress, chest of drawers and tallboy.
You will see from the floor plan that the apartment is a bit topsy-turvy, as my bedroom/bathroom & the kitchen are on the main level (ground floor) and then downstairs on the lower ground floor is your bedroom, family bathroom and the shared living room. This is quite nice as it means you can have your own space and aren’t on top of each other!
The apartment is located super close to public transport, the distances are:
Clapham Common Tube – 4-minute walk
Clapham High Street Overground – 8-minute walk Clapham North Tube – 10-minute walk
The rent is £1150 per month with bills on top, comes to approx overall £1300, give or take.
There is also a security deposit required of £1200.
A bit about me; I’m pretty chilled during the week, you'll find me mostly watching tv or at a Pilates class and at the weekends I like getting out exploring London and seeing friends. I'm always up for a bit of a social, so keen for going for a few drinks, but this is not a party house so would need someone who is also on this vibe and likes to live in a chilled, relaxed space.
I’d really like to find someone who wants more of a homely space and is up for socialising, having a chat and being more friends than just co-existing, but also respects the need for your own personal space and likes to keep things clean and tidy.
