I’m moving out of our lovely Clapham Common flat to live with my boyfriend (very bitter-sweet to be leaving), opening up a space for a new tenant to move into a large king-sized room in our home ✨

Your potential future flatmates, Tala & Georgie:
We are a Brit & Aussie household, 28 & 29 yo friends, working as a vet and in media/PR. We both work hard (Tala a mix of home/office and Georgie full-time at the practice), but also love going out to some of the fab local pubs, hosting BBQs for friends, or simply sharing a bottle of wine over Netflix. We both love a good gym class, or a hot girl walk together around the common, and play in a recreational netball league (and we’re always in need of subs if you fancied it!)

Who we’re looking for: 🥂
We would love to find another girl who is sociable, easy-going, house-proud and happy to help out. We definitely like to keep the house on the side of over-clean so someone who likes to keep a tight ship is a huge bonus!

The flat: 🏡
Set back from the main roads, the house has its own entrance and so much space for just the 3 of us. It’s on one level, has plenty of storage, separate living room & an open-plan kitchen/diner (actually such a good deal for the price and location!)
You will have a large double room with a king-sized bed, huge wardrobe, few other bits of furniture, additional storage in the hallway (great for suitcases), and there is plenty of space for a desk in the room for WFH. For the summer months, we have the added bonus of a side & back garden/patio space with a bbq, which we love to use to host! We love that it feels like a home more than just a spare room house!

Location:📍
Just off Abbeville Road, and a quick 5 mins walk to Clapham Common tube, it makes us a stone’s throw from the common / Abbeville cafes / big Sainsbury’s / Oncore is just up the road (for those that like an easy-to-reach gym class). If you have a car, the residential street also has permit parking that you can get from the council.

Finances: 💸
Rent is £1120/month + approx £140 for bills all in for council tax / water / gas & electric / wifi. The contract runs through until September 2026, with a break clause.
