Description
Hi there, I am looking to sublet my room between 28th November 2024 until 6th of January while I am away. Bills are included in the price (if bills are significantly higher due to excessive use of electricity I will take this out of the deposit however I can’t imagine this happening). The deposit will be returned upon receiving final electicity bills for during your stay.
Considering this is a short term let I’ll leave you all the essentials - i. e linen and kitchen.

I am looking for a friendly, fun, sociable, and respectful person to join my housemates (1 couple - male, 29 and female, 31) in this beautiful 2 double bedroom, 2 bathroom furnished apartment in Clapham Common.
Location: The apartment is a 5-minute walk to a large Sainsburys, and 6-minute walk to Clapham Common underground station. 1-minute walk to the 35, 37, 137 and 417 bus stop. The apartment is located at the top of Abbeville Rd and is very safe to walk to at night (well-lit main street).
About your room:
Your room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and desk with monitor and desk chair. You also have your own ensuite bathroom.
About the apartment:
The living area is furnished with a large L-shaped leather couch and a single sofa, TV mounted on the wall and two tables (a six seater and a four seater).
The kitchen has lots of bench space (enough that two to three people can be in the kitchen at once preparing food). The kitchen is furnished with all the basic appliances you would need. On top of that, it is well stocked with appliances you are welcome to also use such as a rice cooker, pots/pans, chopping knives, etc. The fridge (and freezer) is large and the washing machine is also located in the kitchen.
About my housemates:
They are from Brisbane, Australia. They work full-time in marketing through a mixture of hybrid and working from the office.
They enjoy having a chat in the evening if they aren’t at the gym or out and about.
On weekdays, they split their time between the office, and WFH. They are respectful with noise and have upbeat and energetic personalities.
On the weekends, they are generally out and about, love to socialise and meet new people, and explore London, as the city is fairly new for them.
About you:
They would love to live with someone who is friendly, clean and tidy, respectful of noise, inclusive, likes to socialise and have a laugh. Please tell me about yourself in your message.
Any references you have will be used to your advantage.
Bills:
Bills are included in the price and would include electricity, council rates (Lambeth), water and internet. We do not have a gas bill. Approx £200 each per month (estimated £250 for the duration of the sublet)

- Messy - The kitchen, hallway and living area are communal spaces and are expected to be left tidy and clean for others to use.
