We’re looking for a friendly, easy-going person to join our 5-bedroom house in Clapham Common from 1st December ✨
THE ROOM
A spacious, north-facing double bedroom on the 1st floor that comes with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and a desk. It’s bright and cozy, perfect if you work hybrid or just relaxing after a busy day!
THE HOUSE
It’s a lovely home with a big open plan kitchen/dining/living room downstairs. Fully equipped kitchen with big fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. There are two bathrooms on the first floor with top notch showers. Plus, we have a big garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ which is perfect in summer for hosting friends ☀️
THE HOUSEMATES
You’ll be joining a sociable group of four (2 guys, 2 girls) aged from mid 20’s to early 30’s. All of us are friendly and respectful of each other’s space. We love a catch-up in the kitchen after work or heading down to the local pub but all also have our own busy lives happening!
THE LOCATION
10 minutes walk from the nearest tube station - Clapham Common, as well as the actual common, and the bars and restaurants on the high street. The house is on a quiet residential road with parking available on the road outside (with a permit).
THE MONEY
The room is £1100 pcm (TBC by landlord (could be a little less) deposit also TBC but usually one months rent) and that's for absolutely everything. Includes gas, electricity, water, council tax, broadband, Sky TV, TV licence. And a weekly cleaner that comes on Wednesday to clean the communal areas!
The house is owned by a private landlord so there aren't any agency fees. And we can contact the landlord directly if anything ever needs fixing in the house. There's no formal reference process but they will want to speak to potential housemates before they move in to check you're chill.
