Double room in Clapham Old Town

Hello!

I’m Bryony, my current housemate is moving out (moving in with her boyfriend), and therefore I am in search for a great new housemate! The room available is a cosy, bright double bedroom in a lovely, homely two-bed flat.

The room comes with a wardrobe, bed, mattress, chest of drawers (not ones pictured). The dressing table is also not included. The flat was redecorated in September 2024 so it is really fresh.

The room is not ideal for someone who works from home. Ideally you would be office based as there is not space to WFH.

The flat has a shared living area with large bay windows and a pretty communal garden at the back.

About me – I’m 32 and work in events. I am in the office / wfh 50/50 (I work in my room). I am an outgoing and easy person to get along with. I keep the flat clean and tidy and I am looking for someone who would do the same (this is really important!). I’m looking to live with someone who wants to share a home, who’s sociable and friendly and would like to get to know each other - share a wine on the sofa with TV/Netflix, head out for food together, odd spin class etc. as well as being respectful of each other’s space.

Females only please, looking around aged 29-35.

The flat is in Clapham Old Town, only a 5-minute walk from Clapham Common tube, tons of great restaurants, cafes, pubs etc nearby, as well as the Common.

Bills are approx. £230 a month which includes a cleaner every 2 weeks and a small buffer for communal items for the house (cleaning products, loo roll etc). The landlord is really good and quick to sort anything if there are any issues.
