AMAZING LOCATION!!! If you want to be in Clapham, then the location doesn’t get any better – a 2-minute walk to Clapham Town tube, the common itself, M&S Food, Waitrose and a large Sainsbury’s (and the Two Brewers!).
You will be sharing with one other person (me, the owner, a gay guy).
The room is a large double with a double bed and thermal blackout curtains. It offers ample storage, thanks to 2 double custom-built wardrobes, mirrors, and space under the bed frame.
The flat is spacious and was redecorated in Sept '24, including the replacement of all windows, doors, and appliances. The new windows and doors keep the flat warm in winter and cool in summer, and provide excellent noise insulation (not needed in the quiet location). In addition to being a leaseholder, I am also a freeholder for the development.
A brand new bathroom was installed in June '24. This includes an inbuilt waterfall shower, marble-effect worktops, a heated towel rail, a heated mirror, and a larger bath. There is also plenty of storage owing to a large bathroom cabinet, the vanity unit and a shelf above the bath.
A new, beautiful, solid oak floor was also laid in Sept '24.
This ground-floor flat has a large living area with a separate dining space, a separate good-sized kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc…..in fact ANY appliance and utensils you would need for any and all cooking and/or baking, including a recent new addition, a filtered tap water) and outside space. See photos. There is also a secure, gated parking space available (at an additional cost).
The price includes ALL bills. This includes a 3-hour professional clean every 2 weeks, along with all sundries for the flat (e. g., cleaning materials, shared bathroom toiletries, kitchen products), and there is no need to buy them. You pay your rent and then that’s it – enjoy living here. The flat has full-fibre broadband (1 Gbps) and subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+. It's also a full Apple HomeKit smart home.
I'm looking to share with a professional who is considerate/mindful and will treat the space with care and respect. And cleanliness/tidiness is an absolute must.
I'm open to considering LGBTQ+ and hetero-women as flatmates.
Smokers are ok, but smoking will need to be in the outside space.
About me: I’m a senior HR professional with an outgoing, upbeat personality. During the week, I’m all about work and clean living, while my weekends are about seeing friends and family.
I work from home two days per week (Mon & Fri), and on the other three days, I'm usually home around 16:00, where I do two further hours. I'm open to considering flatmates with hybrid working patterns, but not 100% remote.
