Double bedroom in spacious Victorian house

Hello!

We have a beautiful double room available in our large Victorian house from the 1st of February. Viewings to be held on the weekend of 17-18 January. Move in date slightly flexible for the right person.

Rent and bills are £710.55. We have a cleaner who comes once a fortnight and take it in turns to pay for this (£45). The deposit is £606.57 (one month's rent).

The house is in Upper Clapton, close to Hackney Downs, Stoke Newington Church Street, and Hackney Marshes. There are plenty of public transport options (Clapton and Rectory Road overground stations, many buses, etc.). There is also space for you to leave your bicycle inside the house if you cycle.

The house has loads of light, an ample living space, a garden and two bathrooms (one has a bathtub). The garden is the centre of the house during the summer. We spend time together, occasionally watching films on the projector or sharing a drink or meal, but respect each other's space and the need to retreat to rooms quietly after a long day.

The room is a great size and has a window facing the garden, with blackout curtains. It has a double bed, plenty of storage space, a large desk and desk chair, full length mirror. Other furnishings (shoe rack, shelving unit, bedside table etc.) available on request.

It's a house share with five professionals, two women and three men, working in design, architecture, publishing, media and arts. We are looking for a new housemate who is employed, friendly, respectful, clean and tidy. I'm leaving to move back to New Zealand but have really enjoyed my 1.5 years living in the house!
