1 month Sublease in Clapton Sharehouse

Hello!

I am subleasing my large and bright double room in our Clapton Sharehouse. The room will be available for 1 month from 12th February - 12th March while I'm visiting family back in NZ.

You'll be living with a mixture of nations, cultures, and interests. With Spanish, English and French speakers living and sharing a life in East London.

The room is a north facing, double room on the ground floor of the house. It has large bay windows which let in lots of sunlight. High ceilings and lots of space. I will store my clothes out of the way so you have plenty of room to make yourself at home during your stay. Everything else you need will be there! The road we're on is low traffic as it's not a through-road, plus the windows are double glazed so it's nice and quiet.

You'll be living with 5 others (two men, two women, one masc NB), though the house is nice and big so we all fit. We're all in our 30s and have our own lives so while it's rare that everyone is actually together at the same time, we're all friendly/chatty and always keen for a tea/coffee or a wine 🍷. However, the most important housemate is our cat Miso - so unfortunately we can't have anyone with allergies!


We are respectful of each other’s lives but we enjoy spending time together with drinks and with the occasional meal; there's a really great dynamic here.
February is a quiet month so it's likely there will be movie nights/cosy dinners with the flatties.

We have a south facing garden and patio area which is lovely in the warmer months but doesn't get much use in the winter.

5 minutes from Clapton Overground Station, supermarkets and world food store, and the local pubs are The Crooked Billet and The Clapton Hart. We're 18 minutes walk to Stoke Newington, 7 minutes to Hackney Downs Park. 30 mins cycle from central London along a nice route (Quiet Way number 2).

Rear entrance to the garden so you can bring your bike through where we have secure bike parking. All of us cycle to get around.


Total cost of rent and bills for the month is £720.

(The bills include electricity, gas, wifi and a cleaner each week)
