Double en-suite room with own roof terrace!

Hi all, I’m moving out of my house as I’ve bought my own place so looking for a single person to replace me!

You’ll be living with Ahmed (Aussie), Jo (Portuguese), Becky (Maltese) and Mads/Roby (Mads is an Aussie sublet and Roby is currently back home in Italy for the summer), all working professionals from 30-37. We all tend to mostly do our own thing tbh but all chat in the kitchen. Everyone has totally different schedules so the house never feels crowded with so many people here which is a plus!

The house is in a great location; seconds away from millfields park and the marshes so plenty of green space on your doorstep. It’s at the bottom of Chatsworth road with loads of bars and restaurants and also the market on a Sunday. There’s also the bus stop (242) literally opposite the house which takes you into Shoreditch, and Homerton station is about a 10-15 min walk away, as well as Clapton station (15 min walk).
We recently had a full kitchen reno so it’s all brand new. We also have a lovely garden.

The room itself has a lovely en-suite with a bath and plenty of storage. It’s also on the top floor so boasts 3 velux windows, and a small space for shoes etc outside the room itself. The windows to the terrace also fold back which is great when it’s hot. The queen bed also has storage underneath which is a plus. The roof terrace is south facing so gets sun all day which is great in the summer! There’s also a full wardrobe, chest of drawers and some cupboards and drawers in the bathroom. There’s also a standing desk and white ikea shelves x 2 which are mine but I won’t be taking them so can be removed on request. The kitchen has a washer dryer, electric hob, and whoever moved in will have 2x cupboards in the kitchen.

Price is 1350 for single occupancy (no couples sorry!) Bills are around 120 a month, but our landlord has an AST in place so he takes care of all our bills and lets us know if we are due any refunds (we usually are in the summer). Deposit is 5 weeks rent and will be placed in a DPS. The contract is rolling but we are hoping for someone long term! The rent has just gone up quite a bit so the landlord can’t put it up for another year.
